Chapter 194 

“Of course!” Mrs. Macy put the photo album on the table, flipping through it and introducing the people in the photos to Winnie. 

In one of the photos, a woman was sitting in a gazebo, glancing back. Her elegant and cold temperament was somewhat similar to Mrs. Macy 

“Who’s the lady in the photo?” Winnie asked curiously. 

“This is my grandma!” Mrs Macy’s voice softened, and her eyes became gentle. 

“She’s beautiful!” Winnie praised 

Mrs. Macy fondly said, “My grandma was a well–educated lady, very talented and gentle. I grew up with her, and then our whole family went abroad with my father By the time we returned, my grandma was sick and unconscious.” 

Winnie could hear the sadness in her tone, she held Mrs. Macy’s hand and smiled gently, “Ma’am, your grandma will be treated well whether she is in this world or in heaven 

Mrs. Macy smiled, “Thank you.” 

Flipping further through the album, there were some old photos, as well as pictures of houses and courtyards. Winnie laughed and asked, “Is this the house you used to live in?” 

Mrs. Macy’s eyes filled with tenderness, “Yes, I lived at my grandma’s house when I was young, and there was a big garden.” 

Winnie’s finger paused, pointing at a pair of jade earrings, and exclaimed, “What beautiful earrings!” 

Mrs. Macy’s finger caressed the photo, “These were also left by my grandma, passed down through generations, but they were lost later, which was her lifelong regret. 

Winnie’s eyes lit up, and she smiled warmly, “Can I take a picture? I have a classmate who works at the Cultural Relics Bureau in C City, maybe she can help find 

them.” 

Mrs. Macy’s eyes brightened, and she said excitedly, “Really? If they can be found, no matter whose hands they are in, I will buy them back at any price!” Winnie nodded, “I’ll give it a try!” 

Mrs. Macy’s eyes moistened, ‘As long as you can help me find this pair of earrings, I’ll do anything for you.” 

Seeing how much Mrs. Macy valued the earrings, Winnie had a plan and smiled, “I’ll do my best to help you find them.” 

“Thank you so much!” Mrs. Macy said. 

The two looked at the photos and ate the pastries made by Winnie. Afterward, Winnie left, using taking care of Baldrick as an excuse. 

After Winnie left, Mrs Macy thought about it and called a servant, “Go to Mr. Lamonts villa and invite Ms. Macclain over for afternoon tea.” 

“Yes, ma’am!” The servant left. 

Soon Estelle came, and Mrs. Macy personally waited on the first floor, warmly taking her hand and leading her upstairs, “Ms. Winnie just sent some pastries, and I thought you would like them, so I asked someone to call you over to try.” 

Estelle thanked her softly. 

Sitting down on the sofa in the living room on the second floor, Estelle noticed several plates of snacks and a somewhat old–looking photo album on the coffee table. 

Mrs. Macy smiled warmly, “Ms. Macclain, in fact, I called you here not only to have some pastries, but also to ask for your help with something” 

Estelle smiled lightly, “Please feel free to ask, and I’ll certainly help if I can.” 

Mrs. Macy smiled, took the photo album, turned to the page with the earrings, and showed it to Estelle, “Take a look at this. These were my grandma’s, and they were lost later. My biggest wish in coming back this time is to find these earrings and fulfill my grandma’s last wish.” 

Estelle looked at the earrings in the photo, squinting her eyes slightly. It seemed like she had seen the earrings somewhere before. 

Mrs. Macy continued, “You’re from C City, can you please help me find them? If they can be found, I will also fulfill a wish for you.” 

Estelle said, “Although I grew up in C City, I don’t know many people here, but I will try my best to help you find them.” 

Mrs. Macy’s eyes softened, “Whether you can find them or not, I am very grateful.” 

“Don’t mention it!” Estelle smiled. 

Estelle and Mrs. Macy chatted for a while longer before Estelle left. 

On the way back to the villa, the image of the earrings kept lingering in her mind. She Ined hard to recall where she had seen them before. 

She was sure she had seen them, but it’s long ago.
