The other young chaps in the room hastily hit the road, so they didn’t see it coming that they’d witness lan throw punches.
lan had always been a unique piece in this social circle. His frosty demeanor set him apart from everyone, and now he was in a scrap with Mr. Sanders.
Samuel and Tyler were gobsmacked. Samuel didn’t expect lan to throw hands, and Beck was also fighting back.
Tyler, at that point, was freaking out. He quickly looked at Samuel, “Samuel, what the hell are you gawking at? You pull Beck away, and I’ll pull lan!”
If this kept on going, the elders from the Raymond and Sanders families would have to step in.
And they were throwing down over a‘ girl? Definitely was not a good look!
Samuel quickly grabbed Beck, Tyler bear–hugged lan.
lan got socked in the gut, his mouth hit a couple of times, and he was spitting blood.
Beck seemed alright, but he had some internal injuries. He didn’t look as roughed up as lan, just a swollen lip.
After being held back, lan’s gaze was still sharp as a tack on Beck.
Beck didn’t back down, how dare he hit him?
In this world, only his brother and father had ever laid hands on him, who the hell did lan think he was?
He grabbed a wine glass nearby and chucked it at lan.
lan brushed it aside with a cold look and angrily said, “I’ll ask you again, did you touch her?”
“None of your business!”
Beck kept taunting, and then saw lan grab a fruit knife from the table and throw it at him.
lan was quick, the knife grazed past Beck’s ear, even Samuel ducked away, looking at lan in disbelief.
Beck touched his ear, it was bleeding.
Samuel clutched his chest, “lan what the hell happened to you, are you trying to kill someone?”
Seeing things getting out of hand, Tyler quickly sneakily called Maja, “Maja, get to the VIP room at BlueSky Bar where I usually hang out, lan and Beck are fighting, get here quick.”
As soon as he let go, lan walked towards Beck again, clearly not ready to back down.
Beck was also furious, pushed Samuel aside, and kicked the coffee table in front of him.
“Damn it, you think I’m scared of you? lan, we’re officially enemies!”
lan grabbed his collar, his voice even colder, “You think I care?”
His tone was light, but his eyes were still sharp.”
Just as they were about to go at it again, Samuel and Tyler each held one back, but their eyes were still locked in mid–air, like a few streaks of angry lightning were flashing.
The other young gents in the social circle outside the door quickly spread the news of lan and Beck’s fight, and that it was all over a designer.
From then on, the name Maja became famous.
When Maja arrived, she saw a circle of people standing outside the room. Their faces filled with worry, but they didn’t have the guts to go in.
Seeing her was like seeing a savior.
“Penny, you need to get in there, Beck and lan started fighting because of you.”
Maja frowned and pushed open the door.
Inside, Tyler and Samuel were clearly unable to control the situation, lan delivered a kick to Beck’s chest, and Beck was sent flying, landing on broken glass, a deep cut across his palm.
lan was also seriously injured; his wound was on his neck which was more visible. They were clearly out for blood.
lan’s neck was bleeding, but the moment he saw Maja walk in, he immediately stopped.”
Maja’s face was full of panic, she immediately went to Beck who was on the ground and being concerned she asked, “Mr. Sanders, are you okay?”
Beck raised his hand, saw the cut on his palm; and his brows furrowed.
Seeing this, Maja’s face turned pale. The cut was too deep.
“Quick, f’ll take you to the hospital, this wound needs to be treated immediately!”
She helped Beck up and then turned to look at lan.
Jan opened his mouth but couldn’t get a word out.
Tyler quickly tried to defuse the tension, but Maja’s questioning came first.
“Mr. Raymond, Mr. Sanders is a VIP, is this how the Raymond family, the top family In Greenfield, treats their guests?”
lan kept silent; he could taunt Beck when they were at odds. But facing Maja, he felt like he was choking.
He had been resisting the urge to call her or go to RosenGarden in the past few days.
Seeing her now, his emotions were in turmoil, more intense than ever before.
Most importantly, she came in and immediately ran to check on Beck as if he didn’t exist.
Beck was like the cherished new lover, while he was like the forgotten old acquaintance.
He wasn’t even as good as an old acquaintance. He was completely ignored by her
