lan didnt know how to react for a moment 

Sure, held had women confess their feelings to him before, but he d always turned them down without hesitation But she was different They had shared an intimate moment before

Maja frowned. Of course, she knew but that wasn’t what they were discussing, was it? 

lan saw that she didnt get his hint, so he paused for a moment 

“In fact, my wife and I are quite in love” 

The word “wife was a strange word for him, actually 

The word “love” was also very strange to him

Maja sat in the cold hospital corridor, deep in thought, and decided to call Nell and Cristina. 

They arrived at the hospital quickly, and twenty minutes later, the corridor was filled with the sound of hurried footsteps. 

Cristina was trembling with rage, she walked up to Maja and slapped her. 

“Do you want to kill her?! Maja, I don’t think I’ve done anything to hurt you, why are you always targeting Tricia? Her body is so weak, can’t you leave her alone? You took her out right after she was discharged from the hospital, I’m going crazy tonight!” 

Maja had just run a red light, driving very fast, and now her limbs felt weak. 

Driving too fast can make your brain feel like it’s suffocating, so she didn’t have time to dodge Cristina’s slap. 

The cheek after being slapped was in pain. She instinctively looked at Nell, only to see a look of blame in his eyes, which hurt more than the slap.
