“Honey, I’m sorry. I just got a bit too carried away. I don’t want you to hurt yourself over being mad.” 

Neil was clutching his chest in pain, so pissed off that his whole body hurt. 

Yeah, this time he really screwed up. He thought his old friend who he hadn’t heard from in a while had come by because he saw that the Pennyfeather family’s second round of funding had been successful. 

And since Maja was a designer, they could work together in the future. It was like helping each other out. 

He glared at Cristina, “I bet that’s exactly what you’re thinking!” 

Cristina was taken aback, realizing that Neil was genuinely mad. 

Silver‘ intent was to hurt Maja. But what Cristina said sounded more like she was revealing her true thoughts. This got Neil questioning if he was being too harsh on his daughter. 

But he felt like everything he did was for her own good. 

Neil looked grim as he saw Tricia coming downstairs. 

Tricia looked particularly pale today, as if she had been wronged. 

Seeing Neil angry, she was about to cry. She instinctively wiped her tears. 

“Dad, I’m sorry. Did you argue with sis because something I did caused her trouble?” 

Hearing her voice, Neil’s anger subsided a bit.

“It’s my oversight. When Maja is no longer mad, I’ll discuss the stock transfer issue with her. I transferred the shares her mother left to you before, and with this incident, I plan to give her 15% of the shares first.”

15%, why doesn’t he just give the damn company to that woman?!
