“Nelson!”
Dustin paled as the situation sank in. He quickly took out his needles and tried to stop the bleeding.
But it was impossible, as Nelson had too many wounds.
Realizing the severity of the situation, Dustin began channeling his true energy into Nelson, desperate to keep him alive.
Finally, Nelson’s eyes cracked open tiredly.
“y—you’re back …” Nelson croaked. “I—is Ms. Harmon alright?”
“She’s safe.” Dustin forced a smile.
“That’s good…” The corner of Nelson’s mouth lifted.
“I kept my promise, Sir. I d-did what you told me to a-and protected Ms. Harmon…”
“That’s right. You did.” Dustin nodded frantically.
Although he kept channeling his true energy into Nelson, he could still feel Nelson’s life. slowly slipping away.
“Sir… I-I don’t think I can hang on anymore. I’d 1-like to ask for a favor…” Nelson’s breathing became labored.
“Don’t be silly! I’m a miracle doctor! I will save you!” Gritting his teeth, Dustin inserted a few needles into Nelson’s body.
Yet, things didn’t seem to be getting better.
“S-sir, please take care of my wife and daughter. I haven’t done many good acts in my life.
“I can only boast about having an amazing wife and daughter. I just can’t help but worry about. them, s-so please protect them.” Nelson’s voice was growing fainter.
“You can tell them after you recover, so hang on!” Sweat beaded on Dustin’s forehead as he released all his true energy.
Suddenly, he threw up a mouthful of black blood. The Septemortis was finally taking effect!
“D-don’t waste any more energy, Sir. I can’t hold on anymore. P-please, promise me you’ll take care of them!”
Suddenly, Nelson reached out and fisted Dustin’s sleeve tightly. The light was beginning to fade from his eyes.
“I will. I promise I’ll treat Haley like she’s my own!” Dustin nodded gravely.
“T-thank you, Sir…” Nelson smiled.
Shakily, he pulled a doll from his shirt and passed it to Dustin. “I-it’s Haley’s birthday tomorrow. This is the p-present I prepared for her. P-please pass it to her a-and tell her that her father w-was a… hero…”
With that, Nelson’s eyes closed shut, and his arm fell to the floor limply as he drew his last
breath.
Dustin roared and slammed his fist onto the floor, creating a dent. He never imagined that he’d watch his friend die right before his eyes.
Despite his strong medical skills, he could do nothing to save Nelson.
Dustin hated how useless he was. He couldn’t even save his friend!
This made his skills seem like nothing but a joke.
“Nelson? Nelson!” A familiar voice cried out at the door.
Dustin turned around to see a pregnant woman and a little girl rushing toward him hand-in- hand.
It was Nelson’s wife and daughter!
Holy poor Nelson. A true friend till the end. Gonna miss him. RIP. I can’t believe that Dustin was stupid enough to take the Poison pill. He knew he killed some powerful assasin in the tournament, and then Paul gets assasinated. Like c’mon wasnt it obvious? Now he’s weakened and can’t react properly.

As expected they raise a death flag afterall. dustin should start destroying and killing everyone that mess up with him now starting from the hill family then the killian then the family of that guy no. 13 from heavenly ranking then the family of the one who want to marry to the harmon family forgot their names and of course the whole charging tiger gang and their employer. He is the leader of a gang now he should prioritize his gang and destroy any possible threat oh he should also kill martial artists of glenstead

Im proud to have come to this far. Not worth reading anymore. Plot keep repeating and it seems the story is going from top to bottom. Kind of enjoying at first but why prolonging the story with several chapter for one simple occassion? That is wasting.
This is nice having another side of the story atleast its not totally bland like dustin getting framed again but add something we can feel different emotions and not just frustration. I feel sad for Nelson it was his daughter’s bday tomorrow.
Ah, this is not good at all. Nelson’s death is really painful. More responsibility added to Dustin.

So the author finally decided to make Dustin vulnerable to make it look more realistic & more suspense. Betrayal is common, at least we know Nelson was indeed a true friend which is rare for Dustin.. can’t wait for the next outcome!

Poor nelson😢 , What was wrong with u that killed him just a day before his daughter’s birthday. His wife also pregnant. Dustin’s only 2 true friends are Maximus & nelson, maximus whom he left to take care of at the medical center in Swinton. But in millsburg his only true friend was nelson, why kill him . Its hard to digest bcz its really painful to see dustin without a loyal friend , And now he has the responsibility of taking care of Nelson’s daughter and his wife and unborn child. I was afraid for a while that Natasha might not die. If Natasha had died, I would have stopped reading the novel. so never make the mistake of killing natasha. Dustin must root out all the Clans of Glenstead after proving his innocence within 7 days. 🤬😡 He should also destroy the Hill family. No one had thought that even patric would change, his only punishment is death. Bcz nelson’s death is heart wrenching. heart is crying for his family 🥺😢 . And all the Shadowslayers must die one by one by Dustin. And please remove Dhalia from dustin’s life . Bcz of her the whole mood is off, the hospital Chapter turned into garbage due to little presence of Dahlia. Keep her as far away from Dustin as possible. Natasha’s involvement was good in some chapters, How truly she loves Dustin is proved when she comes to the hospital to spend time with him. She is not dhalia who came to the hospital, that too for work. Dhalia is still so proud of herself that she is not accepting her mistake, still thinking she was right, she dnt deserve dustin . Natasha is not only rich but also a good hearted girl who agreed to attend Nelson’s daughter’s birthday. Dnt care abt her millions necklace and gifted to nelson’s daughter . Putting her life on the line, she went to the Mount Area with Dustin. Bcz she deeply love dustin . That we all want from dustin’s future wife . And everytime she prove that . So i hope author will end this novel with dustin-natasha marriage . If dustin ends up with dhalia in the end of this novel thn i will criticize this novel everywhere, and suggest everyone to never read this novel . Today the author made me very sad by killing nelson 🥺😢 a beloved character.I hope that in future the author does not commit any such mistake that our interest will die in reading the novel. It was Spring’s doing. He was the one who wanted to kill Paul. Remember when Dustin said no one should remove the needles? Then suddenly Paul went berserk? It was Spring who removed the needles. He had wanted to kill his father for a long time.

I think something odd With the help of which the author can revive nelson again. Dustin is a mysterious person , we’re just now learning about him. From whom did he learn these martial arts techniques in these 10 years, which can defeat even a Grandmaster or upper level grandmaster in a pinch? From whom did he learn acupuncture skills, with that he can heal patients so easily ? We still don’t know who were those people Dustin learned all this from. so can’t dustin call those people to bring nelson back to life with their internal energy ? Dustin is unable to give his internal energy bcz his immune is damage due to that poison pill. So he can get help. Azalea has been a member of Mystic orders , she must know many secrets of the Mystic Orders.Maybe she know of some powerful sorceress who can bring the nelson back to life. Dustin may also take help from Abigail’s father, Michael. He can use his internal energy to save nelson’s life . The author can do all any thing to bring back nelson to alive because it is her novel. There are so many possibilities, Nelson can be brought back to life with the help of what I wrote about lotzz of possibillities .Novel will feel empty without nelson. There’s No Replacement For his bonding With Dustin. I am more worried about his pregnant wife & little girl , so the author should keep Nelson alive with all this possibillities. I still don’t believe nelson is dead , I still can’t come to terms with Nelson’s death. 😞😢🥺

This whole gang thing is looking good anymore now, Nelson was really tight in his role and very unbelievably loyal… The author was a bit too quick to kill this character, I was really enjoying Nelson’s collaboration with Dustin, I never trusted the murderer from the start so I’m not surprised there

I hope he will come out strong.

Writer if Dhalia’s attitude didnt change even learning the truth then its better for The ship to course with Natasha. Indeed the story revolves around Dustin and Dhalia but if Dhalia never changes and still cling to her family its better if Dhalia will be dead rather than having a headache everytime i read this. Yes it is sad Nhelson died a man of loyalty.

I wish, I just wish Nelson somehow had made it through. I can’t stop my tears even though it’s just a story it’s so touching at this time. I hope Dustin will slowly with torture wipe out Felix and his whole gang. Dustin never took his authority from him and yet was betrrayed. Sucha shame.
