Zachary received a call at home: “What did you say? A mental hospital? I’m on my way.”

Zachary’s father nodded and said, “It’s possible.” 

“1.2 billion, just like that. That’s several times more than our assets!”

Serena was getting anxious: “Now my classmates are asking me what’s going on, asking if Arabella was adopted by my parents? They also said they haven’t been invited to my house for a while and want to come over in a few days! What do we do about Arabella’s identity? We can’t let them find out I’m a fake heiress!” “Serena, calm down.” 

Just as Martha was speaking, the front door was pushed open. Kenneth, Louisa, Hans, and Arabella walked in together, their family of four laughing and talking, sight that deeply hurt Serena. 

“Dad, mom, you’re back? Brother, you’re back from abroad? Sister, why did you come back together? Did you meet on the road?” 

“We attended a land auction with Bella today,” Louisa said, smiling at Arabella. “You go upstairs and rest for a bit; we’ll eat something before we go to the gala.” The food at the charity gala was mainly for show; Louisa was worried Arabella would be too shy to eat properly, so she asked the chef to prepare some food in advance. 

“By the way, your dress for tonight is already in your room. Edith put it there.”
