Chapter 366 Wedding by the End of the Month
Edith couldn’t help but say, “Are you guys overthinking things? I believe that Crispin truly loves Steph, and I only hope that he’ll treat her with sincerity. There’s nothing else I ask for.”
“You have a point.” Amanda stopped dwelling on the topic. She knew she couldn’t persuade Edith, event though the woman was her mother.
On the other hand, Jack fell deep in thought.
When Stephanie returned to her room upstairs, she plunged onto the bed and buried her face in the pillow before bawling her eyes out.
She felt that everyone was mocking her, especially Amanda.
Both of them were from the Allegra Family. While Amanda found one of the wealthiest men in the country, Elias Winters, Stephanie ended up with a poor guy, Crispin Coyote. Even the wedding was fully paid for by the Allegras.
As such, it was only natural that she was frustrated.
Crispin soon entered the room and closed the door.
However, he didn’t go over and appease her in a hurry, unlike what he would usually do in the past. Instead, he slowly sat down on the bed and watched as the woman’s shoulders trembled.
Since they had gotten the marriage license, he could be considered part of the Allegra Family. As such, he just had to act normally.
Also, Stephanie had been repeatedly throwing a tantrum in the past few days, so his patience was running
out.
She felt the man sitting on the bed, but he just wouldn’t placate her. Burning with rage in an instant, she lifted her head from the pillow and bellowed. “Get lost! Stop annoying me!”
“What’s the point of being sad, Steph? Let bygones be bygones. Since we now have the marriage license, we’re a legally married couple. You should stop thinking of the past,” Crispin said perfunctorily.
Nevertheless, Stephanie was even more enraged upon hearing that. She pushed the man away and barked, “What makes you think you can speak to me like this? Do you seriously believe you’re already part of the Allegras just because we have gotten our marriage license? Are you also despising me because I was f*cked by a wretched middle-aged man?”
An unfazed Crispin merely put on a smile. “Well, I should thank that man. If not for him, you wouldn’t have ended up getting together with me.”
Stephanie was petrified upon hearing that. A moment later, she flared up, saying, “What do you mean by that? Are you also mocking me? Are you saying that you’re the only one who would marry me?”
He’s basically saying that just because I slept with that wretched middle-aged man, I could only choose him!
With a smile, Crispin rose to his feet and went to pour her a cup of water in silence. Then, he held the cup out for her and commented, “Drink some water and calm down.”

Stephanie glowered at him. “Tin asking you what you meant by that.”
“Nothing at all. Steph, I know you feel uncomfortable just thinking about the gardener, but that’s a price. you have to pay for betraying me. Just get over it, and you’ll realize it’s no big deal. I don’t mind it His voice sounded so nonchalant that it was as if he was talking about the weather.

Stephanie’s eyes widened in disbelief. “What are you talking about? Is that what a human is even supposed to say? What do you mean that it’s a price I have to pay for betraying you? Is that what I am now in your heart? A wh*re?”
“Isn’t that true, though? If you were not in love with Elias, all of that wouldn’t have happened.”
Crispin sounded displeased even though he was the mastermind behind the incident. Also, he was the one who bedded Stephanie that night.
However, he was utterly disappointed when he saw the woman willingly arrive at the hotel.
Stephanie used to be an innocent and loyal woman, but she ended up being Elias’ simp. Even though Crispin was the one who bedded her that night, the woman was there to give herself to Elias.
The more he thought about it, the more furious he became.
Stephanie used to claim that she loved Crispin only, but she eventually betrayed him and was even willing to do the deed with another man.
Meanwhile, Stephanie was beyond shock, for she didn’t expect Crispin to say such a thing. Has he only been pretending that he doesn’t mind it? Does he look down on me as well?
“If you despise me so much, you don’t have to marry me. It’s not like I love you! Countless men will line. up to woo me!” Stephanie felt humiliated, for even a man who used to be her simp now belittled her as well.
Crispin kept the smile on his face. “I told you I don’t mind it, so you’d better not harp on this issue. Otherwise, it’ll be mentally taxing för both of us.”
“Get lost!” Stephanie felt that the man before her had changed. He was no longer the gentleman she used
to love.
“You’ve changed,” she muttered. You wouldn’t talk to me or treat me like this in the past.”
“You have also changed, haven’t you? You used to be loyal to me, but you’re in love with Elias now. You love him so much that you were even willing to give him your first time.”
Stephanie was speechless upon hearing that.
Crispin had been holding the cup of water the entire time, but she didn’t have the intention of taking it. As such, he could only put it down on the table and said, “Life goes on, so just move on and stop thinking about the past. It’s not like you can change anything. You’d better get some rest. I’ll take my leave now. Soon, I’ll be busy making the arrangements for the wedding with Mr. Allegra.”
With that, he left the bedroom and closed the door.
The moment the door was shut, Stephanie broke down mentally. She picked up the pillow and hurled it at the door before yelling, “Argh!”
Even a poor man like him has the guts to bully me now! Who does he think he is?

When Amanda was done with the shower, she stepped into the balcony and let the night breeze whisk through her long hair. She decided to dry her hair with the wind and go to sleep.
She had also prepared a cup of warm milk. The moment she took a sip, her phone started ringing.
Upon realizing it was Elias calling, she picked it up. “What’s wrong?”
“I’m outside the Allegra Villa. Is Aiden asleep?”
“Yeah, he’s sound asleep. What are you doing outside our home?”
The man replied in a husky and exhausted voice, “Can you come out for a while? I’m a little frustrated.”
Amanda frowned and remained silent for several seconds before replying, “Give me a second. I’ll get changed.”
Then, she entered the bedroom and changed into different clothes before leaving the villa. The man’s luxury car was indeed parked outside the entrance.
Elias leaned against the car with a cigarette between his lips. The smoke blurred his handsome face, but Amanda could still see his frustration.
Too many things had happened as of late, so she let out a sigh and approached the man. “Why aren’t you going home at this hour?”
Elias straightened up and put out the cigarette before replying, “I don’t want to go home. I miss you.”
Amanda had no idea what to say to that. Several moments later, she uttered, “By the way, Crispin and Stephanie have gotten their marriage license, and their wedding will be held by the end of the month.”
He was surprised upon hearing the news. Jack had always been a shrewd man, so it was a mystery as to why he even allowed such a thing to happen.
“Did you just say they got their marriage license and the wedding will be held by the end of the month? Who came up with that idea?” Elias furrowed his brows.
She sprinted down the stairs but suddenly remembered her pregnancy and slowed down. Clutching the test strip in her hand, she wondered what Elias Winters' reaction would be once he heard the news.
Yet, when Amanda was halfway down the stairs, she saw two figures in the living room—Elias and a sexy woman. Slowing down her steps, she held the handrail tightly and felt her heart sink. That was because she saw her husband and the woman behaving affectionately as though they were a smitten couple.
