Taya sighed deeply. “What is it?”
Amon’s cold voice came from the other end of the phone,
“Can you draw?”
Taya froze for a moment, not understanding what he meant.
“Yes…”
She was talented in drawing since she was a child, which was
why she studied design.
Amon said, “The first condition is that I want you to replace
Rosalie and take over her unfinished projects.”
Taya was stunned. She remembered that Rosalie was the most famous architect in the world, but she on the other hand was just a graduate of a design school. How could she replace Rosalie and complete her unfinished projects?
Amon didn’t care whether Taya could do it or not. He continued to speak in a cold voice, “I have already asked someone to send you the drafts and architectural drawings Rosalie had completed. There is also a blank album for the unfinished projects she had accepted previously. You need to complete the projects according to their order.”
Taya frowned and asked, “But I majored in brand design, not architectural design. I don’t know anything about architectural drawings…”
Amon paused for a few seconds. Taya could tell that he was at a loss for words. “Your sister has a construction company in Arcadia, and I will ask the chief designer, Neil, to teach you in person. Remember, study hard, and don’t ruin your sister’s
reputation.”
Taya was worried. “But…”
Amon began to lose his patience. “Don’t question it. Just do as I say.”
Taya had no choice but to agree. At least Amon didn’t lie to
her this time. What he asked her to do was indeed related to
her sister.
But she still couldn’t figure out the reason he was doing this.
“Why do you want me to complete her unfinished projects?”
Amon was silent for a few seconds before he spoke in a deep
voice, “I just found out that she still had many dreams that she
wasn’t able to fulfill…”
Taya fell silent when she heard those words. It turned out that
her sister left the world with many regrets…
Amon calmed himself down and returned to being indifferent.
“We are helping her to fulfill her dreams by completing these projects for her.”
Knowing that it was for Rosalie, Taya no longer refused.
“Okay, I will study hard…”
When Amon heard that, his tone softened a little. “Each one of
her designs is worth tens of millions. All the income will belong
to you.”
Taya was stunned. She didn’t expect her sister’s net worth to
be so high.
She was flustered. Even if someone was there to teach her,
with her abilities, it would be difficult to reach Rosalie’s level,
wouldn’t it?
Amon didn’t know what she was thinking, and continued,
“There are about 50 projects, and Rosalie had agreed that they would all be completed. Now, time has passed, which means that you must complete everything. Thus, you have to
learn everything about architecture as fast as you can…”
If Rosalie was here, it would’n take many years, but unfortunately she was gone, and there was one less talented
architect in the world.
At first, Taya felt that she was incompetent, but when she
heard that she had to learn everything and complete more than 50 projects, she was overwhelmed.
However, this was her sister’s dream, so she couldn’t refuse.
Under immense pressure, she responded faintly, thinking that Amon would hang up the phone. However, he told her his whereabouts. “Something went wrong here in Aronland, so I can’t go back for the time being…” Taya was very happy and she thought that it would be best if he never came back.
However, she replied calmly, “It’s okay. I understand that you’re busy with your work.”
Amon hung up the phone. Looking at the darkened screen, Taya heaved a sigh of relief. So far, that agreement was not too much of a problem.
