Ava finally recognized me. Her face flushed and paled alternately, and her gaze showed strong animosity. However, she didn’t dare to provoke me actively.

I went to the underground parking lot with the car keys. When I found my dad’s car and was about to get in, I saw Charlie and Ava tugging at each other.

Ava held onto Charlie’s clothes, looking aggrieved. “You’re so good to me, don’t tell me there’s no sincerity! I don’t believe it!”

“Believe it or not, it’s up to you. Just stop annoying me!” Charlie forcefully shook off Ava’s hand.

“Mom, I want to eat pudding,” I said to my mom. Seeing that I was sitting in the back, she sat back there with me, and I quickly held her hand and leaned against her.

“You said you wanted to eat pudding. I made it for you. Come and have some before going back to sleep, alright?” My mom said to me.

I instantly became wide awake. I sat on the bed and stayed stunned for a few seconds. Then I felt my eyes welling up with tears.

After being reborn, I hadn’t cried yet, not even when I dreamt of the painful moments from my previous life. I had become numb to the pain. There was nothing I couldn’t accept anymore.

But my mom made the pudding I wanted in the middle of the night, and I couldn’t help but cry.
