“Adrien’s leg got injured,” Emmeline responded. “He was taken away by an ambulance.”

“Which hospital’s ambulance?” Abel asked.

“I didn’t ask,” Emmeline replied. “The ambulance was far away, I only saw medical personnel.”

Abel dialed Adam’s number.
