Leo was a bit puzzled.

Jared had already lifted his head, asking, “Aren’t you going yet?”

Jared looked grim and his voice was colder, “So you’re looking for me just because of your grandma?”

“Mariela saw you took my grandma away with her own eyes, Jared, what are you thinking? The disputes between us have nothing to do with her, my grandma is old and can’t stand the trouble, where did you take her?” 

Jared’s brows furrowed deeper, but he was silent for a while before he started to speak 

“Agnes, who said she has nothing to do with our disputes? You blamed my sister’s fault on me, have you forgotten that?” 

Agnes felt suddenly cold inside. 

She understood what Jared meant. 

His point was that she had implicated him because of Alyssa years ago.
