When Mariela opened her eyes, she saw a scruffy man with a full beard giving her artificial respiration.

Jared took a step forward and said, “Mariela, he just saved you” 

Mariela looked up and saw Jared’s cold but handsome face. 

Last night, while chatting with Agnes, she accidentally overheard Agnes mentioning that Jared was a swimming expert. 

She fell into the water due to the crowd’s pushing. 

she thought Jared would definitely jump in to save her. If that happened, she would have a reason and opportunity to get closer to him. 

However, she stayed in the water for a long time and was about to expose the fact that she could actually swim. 

She wouldn’t risk her life just for a guy. 

Just when she was about to swim to the shore on her own, Jared jumped into the water.
