Chapter 912
There were a bunch of mercenaries in the woods, they were attacking Estelle and even used Josiah to threaten her. Later, Estelle was ambushed and injected with some unknown drug. After fighting back, she got tangled up with those guys
He was so shocked at that moment, and wanted to rush over to help Estelle. But he was all weak, and then someone hit him in the neck, he passed out once more. When he woke up again, he was here!
He had no idea what had happened in between.
Who were those people attacking Estelle?
Did they work for Wolverine?
And who brought him back to J City?
Josiah’s head was throbbing, he couldn’t think straight. He tried to get up and out of bed, but due to the drug, he was still weak. Though it wasn’t as bad as before when he couldn’t even walk
Ignoring the headache, he walked to the table, grabbed a bottle of mineral water and downed it in one go.
Just as he finished, the doorbell rang. He walked over to open the door.
Amiee barged in, grabbed his clothes and asked coldly, “Where’s Estelle? Where’s shel
She finished her competition late last night and only found out about the incident after checking her phone!
Josiah was pushed back by Amiee, staring at her blankly, “I don’t know”
She was surrounded by so many people, was she still alive?
Amiee shoved him to the ground, gritting her teeth, “You bastard!”
Josiah fell to the ground, staring at Amiee in shock.
Suddenly Amiee’s phone beeped, she checked it and her expression changed. Estelle’s location in Eagle Valley finally popped up!
She turned around and quickly walked out. Josiah got up and followed, grabbing Amiee’s wrist, “What the hell happened?”
Amiee took a deep breath and looked back at him, “Don’t you get it? Have you ever wondered why it was Estelle who showed up at Kulha Mountain in the end?”
Josiah’s eyes widened in shock, like he’d been struck by lightning, he was frozen in disbelief!
Looking at Amiee in disbelief, he slowly backed away, “Impossible! How could Estelle be the boss? No way!”
He kept denying, finding it hard to believe.
How could Estelle be Estelle?
One was someone he admired and followed, and the other was someone he despised. They had nothing to do with each other!
“Idiot!” Amiee gave him a cold look and turned to leave
Josiah, with a blank look, stood there for a few seconds before snapping out of it and quickly catching up.
Amiee’s car was parked downstairs, Josiah opened the passenger door and got in. He was still in disbelief, “I’ll go with you to find Estelle!”
Amiee ignored him and started the car quickly.
Josiah was anxious, trying to recall every detail of their encounters since he met Estelle Thinking about it, Estelle never annoyed him. It was him who always had prejudices against her because of his relationship with Yvonnel
No matter how he treated her, Estelle seemed to never get angry at him. She never showed any disgust, she always had an unexplainable tolerance towards him,
He thought she was pretending, deliberately playing the role of a gentle and harmless person, but he didn’t realize that it was him who was the pampered yet stupid

Josiah turned to look out the car window, the scenery outside was rushing backwards, filling his heart with anxiety, regret and frustration
