Estelle was going to refuse, but her eyes flashed, and she nodded. “Okay”

When Jonathan returned to the Royal Mansion, it was already eleven o’clock at night. He thought Estelle was already asleep, but when he entered, he saw that the TV in the living room was still on.
As he approached, he saw it on TV that a person with half a head missing peeped out from under the heroine’s bed, the remaining eye staring intently at him.

He walked over to Estelle and spoke softly. “What are you watching?”

As the movie played past the halfway point, Jonathan walked out of the master bedroom, sat down beside Estelle at a leisurely pace, leaned on the sofa, and accompanied her to watch the movie.
Estelle glanced at him, seeing his body lazily leaning against the back of the sofa, a few strands of damp hair scattered on his forehead, hiding all the edges and emotions. Only the light from the TV flickered on his eyebrows and eyes.
He was wearing a bathrobe, his legs spread apart, and the outline of his abdominal muscles could be faintly seen above…
Estelle averted her gaze.
The heroine in the movie screamed, and Jonathan frowned, looking at Estelle, and the strawberry sauce on her lips was still there.
He showed a mysterious smile, leaned closer to Estelle, raised his hand, and wiped it off for her. His deep voice asked, “Do you really like ice cream that much?”
He saw that she had mini mountain of ice cream in the fridge.
Estelle smelled the faint scent of alcohol on him and swallowed the ice cream in her mouth. She explained, “When I was a kid, my mom only bought ice cream for my brother. He deliberately teased me, eating it bit by bit in front of me, then telling me how delicious it was.”
She couldn’t help but drool, and her stepmother kicked her off the stool, scolding her for being useless
Estelle smiled lightly, “At that time, I thought that I would definitely have loads of ice cream when I grew up.”
It was the first time Jonathan had heard about her family. He frowned slightly, “Where are your parents now?”
Estelle replied emotionlessly, “They died in a car accident when I was four. After that, my brother and I were sent to an orphanage.”
Jonathan asked, “Didn’t you say you also have a grandfather?”
“Yeah “Estelle nodded, “I stayed in the orphanage for a year, then was adopted by my grandfather and taken home.”
Jonathan didn’t expect Estelle to have such a tragic past. He was speechless for a moment, raised his hand, and rubbed her head, smiling faintly. “Then eat more, and if it’s not enough, I’ll buy more for you”
Estelle looked up, her eyes calm, “I don’t have a childhood trauma, and it’s not because I was abused when I was young that I have a sweet tooth. I just genuinely enjoy it‘
Jonathan looked down at her, and after a moment, he asked, “What does the ice cream taste like?”
Estelle handed him the half empty box, “Do you want some?”
Jonathan took the ice cream box but put it aside. He gently caressed her face, leaned down, and kissed the comer of her mouth, licking the strawberry sauce into his mouth
