Manley burst out of the woods, swinging a mean stun baton. He took down one of Wolverine’s guys right off the bat, then went all out against the rest of Wolverine’s crew.

Estelle felt a sweet taste in her throat, a gush of blood spewing from her mouth. Her body was limp, but her eyes held a sense of ease.

She’d done it. She’d taken down the Wolverine. She’d gotten revenge for Wolf and her friends!

She could join her team now!

“Estelle!”

Manley had lost it. He was shouting, trying to get to her. His stun baton was powerful, he was clearing a path through the crowd!

He threw himself at Estelle’s feet, panic written all over his face. She was covered in blood, and he didn’t know what to do.

He tried to cover the wound on her stomach. His heart pounded with fear, and his arm shook uncontrollably

“Estelle Estelle… I’m too late!”

After he arrived at Tinct Village, he couldn’t find Estelle, so he had to search the nearby mountains until he came across a scared couple. They told him a girl ha been surrounded here.

He rushed over, but it was already too late!

Estelle’s eyes fluttered open. She looked at Manley, Her gaze dull, her voice hoarse, Go. Leave me!”

“Estelle Don’t go. Please don’t leave!”

Manley was in a state of panic. He jumped up, standing in front of Estelle, glaring at the Wolverine’s people, “Come on. Kill me”

There were about four or five of them left. All of them were injured. They glared at Estelle and Manley in fury, charging at them again.

Manley gripped his stun baton, swinging and blocking. He didn’t know any special moves, but he was swinging wildly, keeping them away from Estelle

The sun had set. Dusk was falling, and the woods were desolate. Even the wind was thick with the smell of blood!

Soon, Manley was injured as well. His left arm had been slashed, blood soaking half his arm

He wiped away the blood in his eyes. Everything in his sight turned dark red. He looked back at Estelle with a firm gaze, “Estelle Hang in there. I’ll get you out of here!”

Estelle leaned against a tree trunk, her face as white as paper Weakly, she said,

“Manley, this isn’t a game! Go, leave now, you can still make it out alive!”

“I’m not leaving. If we go, we go together. I told you, you’re my treasure. I won’t leave you behind!” A faint smile tugged at Manley’s bleeding face, his grin bath terrifying and eerie.

Estelle with a hand on her shoulder, smirked, “Manley, did you take your game too seriously?”

Their entire relationship was based on a misunderstanding. His closeness to her was just to piss off Jonathan. Had he fooled himself by playing too many game Manley ignored her words and just stood firm in front of her. Dusk cast a shadow on his face. Mixed with blood made him look horrifying.

He looked at the remaining Wolverine’s people. A slight smile showed on his face, but his eyes were filled with determination and coldness. “Your boss is gone. you’re not afraid of death, come join him in hell! But, if you want to hurt her, you’ll have to step over my dead body!”

The opposing men glared at Estelle and Manley. They flexed their wrists, charging again.

Manley’s stun baton was out of power, and he had wounds on his arm and chest. But he still charged at them fearlessly, standing firmly in front of Estelle, not giving any of them a chance to get near her

Estelle saw the men slashing at Manley, her heart filled with rage. Suddenly, she felt a sense of defiance.

She’d taken down the Wolverine, without any regrets. But she couldn’t let Manley die here with her

She took off her T-shirt, wrapping it tightly around her stomach wound. She staggered to her feet, gritting her teeth, gripped her dagger and charged into the fray fighting side by side with Manley!
