Chapter 88 

Estelle’s scalp tingled, staring at the man who suddenly appeared, she froze on the spot and forgot to dodge the pillow Henson threw at her, hitting her head straight on. 

“Stop fooling around!” Jonathan’s eyes flashed, softly scolding Henson. 

Henson didn’t expect to really hit Estelle, he quickly jumped off the sofa and said, “Are you stupid, girl? Why didn’t you dodge?” 

Estelle rubbed her head, “It’s fine, no biggie. It doesn’t hurt.” 

Henson looked at Jonathan, “Uncle, Ms. Macclain said she likes you!” 

Estelle remained silent. 

She really had to consider quitting her job now 

Jonathan looked at Estelle, smiling. “Oh, really?” 

Estelle smiled nicely and calmly said, “Yes, I like Henson and Norah too. Thank you all for giving me a job, you guys are the best.” 

Henson shuddered his shoulders, “Ugh, so cheesy!” 

Estelle smiled gently, “Mr. Lamont, this exam wasn’t comprehensive enough. I want to give Henson a more thorough test next week” 

Henson’s eyes widened in an instant. 

Jonathan chuckled softly, his eyes deep, and said indifferently. “I also came for that, The test was too simple this time, make it more challenging next time so we can see Henson’s true abilities” 

He added, “Tll take a picture of his exam results next time and show his dad” 

Henson was speechless. 

He felt like a small sail on the sea, hit by two big ships at the same time. 

When Estelle went downstairs after her second lesson, Lucille was still in the living room, all by herself. 

She purposely ignored Estelle, only looking at Henson, smiling warmly and enthusastically. “Henson, I went to the mall today and saw that the Lego Star Wars series has a new set out, so I bought it for you. Do you like it?” 

Henson glanced indifferently at the Lego set on the coffee table, “No need, my uncle already had someone buy it for me a few days ago.” 

“Really?” Lucille smiled awkwardly, “Well, you can give it to one of your friends then.” 

Only then did she turn her head to look at Estelle, her smile fading, “I heard Henson’s grades have improved a lot, you must be working hard. Henson’s parents are not at home, so I wanna say thank you on their behalf!” 

Her tone sounded like she was the hostess of the Lamont family. 

Before Estelle could speak, Henson suddenly said, “Ms. Macclain isn’t going anywhere. She’s staying for lunch.” 

Lucille gave Henson a look, “Isn’t it inappropriate for an outsider to always eat at our house?” 

“Whose house is this?” Henson retorted. 

Lucille’s smile froze, her face turning red. 

Henson’s tone was cold, “This is my home, I decide who is an outsider, and who isn’t. Ms. Macclain is my teacher and my friend. No one else has the right to call her an outsider” 

Estelle’s eyes flickered, she looked at Henson and a hint of warmth fluttered through her heart. 

Lucille looked like she had just been slapped in the face. She looked up at Jonathan who was coming down the stairs, her voice filled with grievance, “Jonathan!” Jonathan didn’t look at her but directly asked the servant standing outside the kitchen, “Did you guys prepare soup for Ms. Macclain? She likes soup.” 

The servant quickly said, “Yes, it’s ready and can be served right away” 

Lucille stood there, feeling the breeze blowing in from the window as cold as her heart right now. She was angry and aggrieved, wanting to storm out for a moment but when she saw Estelle, she managed to calm herself down and pretended nothing happened. 

Estelle was forced to stay for lunch, and when she went to the downstairs bathroom to wash her hands, Lucille blocked her inside. 

Lucille’s eyes were full of undisguised disgust and jealousy, “Don’t think Jonathan really likes you, he’s just doing this on purpose to annoy mel” 

Estelle thought Lucille was even more pitiful than Brooke, at least Brooke, whether sincere or not, at least she got Saul in the end
