Yvonne took another glance out of the window, seeing Norah and the other BBQ joint staff members chatting and laughing. They seemed to know each other pretty well 

Was Norah working at the BBQ joint? What was her relationship with Gonzalez? 

As Yvonne was lost in her thoughts, Gwen walked in, looking a bit nervous, “Yvonne, you wanted to see me?” 

Yvonne chuckled, “Remember Mr. Powell, the man I introduced you to? He called me yesterday, said he was pretty impressed by you and has a role in mind for a play. Are you free?” 

Gwen nodded. “Yes, I have time.” 

After all, Mr. Mayfield’s movie was about to wrap up production. 

“You can contact him directly, just tell him I sent you. 

“Thank you. Yvonne!” 

“Grab the opportunity!” 

Yvonne felt a bit embarrassed, “I’ve been off my game these past few days, it got you scolded by Mr. Mayfield. I feel bad about it. How about I treat you to lunch as an apology?” 

“No need!” Gwen quickly shook her head, “You’ve helped me so much, I should be the one thanking you! Plus, Mr. Mayfield ordered BBQ for everyone, we don’t need 

to go out 

“Really?” Yvonne looked out the window, acting surprised, “The BBQ is already here? Well, we can chat another time then. 

“Sure!” Gwen agreed. 

Yvonne pointed at the girl outside the window, “Is she from the BBQ joint too? She’s really pretty, doesn’t look like a waitress.” 

“Yes, she works there.” Gwen replied. 

Yvonne nodded thoughtfully, “Why hasn’t their boss come over? 

Gwen replied, “I heard from Estelle that Mr. Flemmings is injured and is recuperating. 

“Injured?” Yvonne asked curiously, “What happened to him out of the blue?? 

“It seems he was hurt by some temporary workers, he even went to the police station. Gwen shook her head. 

“Anything else?” Yvonne asked impatiently. 

“I don’t know anything else! Gwen looked confused, wondering why Yvonne was so interested in the BBQ joint. 

Yvonne acted casual, “Alright, you go have lunch then!” 

“Aren’t you coming?” Gwen politely asked. 

“My stomach’s been acting up recently, can’t handle spicy food. You guys go ahead, my assistant will order something for me.” Yvonne explained with a smile

She had been keeping a close eye on Estelle these past few days, noticing that Jonathan still picked her up after work. She wasn’t sure if she was relieved or disappointed. 

Her phone rang in her pocket, it was Craig calling her to join them for the BBQ. 

Gwen took a deep breath, letting go of her thoughts and headed towards Estelle’s courtyard. 

On her way back after delivering the food, Norah stopped by a restaurant to get some light food for Xavier 

Back at the BBQ joint, Norah headed upstairs with the food box. As soon as she reached the top, she saw Damian stepping out of Xavier’s room, talking on the phone, “Where are you? Okay, I’m coming down now!” 

After hanging up, Damian smiled at Norah, “Norah, the delivery truck is here. I’ll go downstairs, can you help Mr. Flemmings change his bandages?” 

“No problem, go ahead!” Norah smiled back. 

Damian’s phone rang again, causing him to rush downstairs. 

Norah walked into Xavier’s room with the food box, “Mr. Flemmings.” 

She pushed the door open, and was shocked at the sight before her.
