“No need to know who I am. Norah is in our hands. Transfer one billion to us quickly or she will be in danger,” the man said coldly 

“You wouldn’t dare Xavier fumed.

“We’ll send you an account number later. Transfer the money there and don’t call the police. Once we receive the money, we’ll send Norah home.”

Xavier ended the call and soon received a message on his phone with a bank account number.

He initially disagreed with the plan, but Jack said he had relatives abroad and assured him that once they got the ransom, they could go abroad where the Lamont family wouldn’t be able to find them.
