Estelle thought Jonathan was a bit off today. Just as she was about to open her mouth, the man swooped in for a heated kiss, “Shut it, I don’t wanna know!”
He really wanted to ask her who was she really, and why was she getting so close to him? But he just couldn’t bring himself to ask. He was scared that once the truth came out there was no going back. He was scared that once the truth was out, it would be the moment she left him!

Jonathan! Estelle said, a bit uneasy, grabbing onto his soaking wet shirt
Jonathan kissed her passionately, from her eyes to her nose, then her lips. His hot breath brushed past her ear as he asked in a low voice, “Ella, do you love me?”

After a while. Jonathan dred off Estelle’s body and wrapped her in a towel, heading to the bedroom in large strides
As soon as Estelle led down on the bed, Jonathan held her tightly in his arms.
In the middle of the night, Estelle fell asleep out of exhaustion. She wasn’t sure if it was her imagination but she felt like Jonathan was different tonight, a stark contrast to his usual gentleness. But she was too tired and sleepy to think too much, falling into a deep slumber

“Ella, I don’t care where you come from, you belong to me!”
Two days later, Jonathan received a call from Nate
“Mr. Lamont, we can’t find anything about Estelle’s past!”
“Nothing? Jonathan stood by the office window, squinting slightly.
“That’s right, nothing. Her records and experiences after being adopted are all blank. Someone intentionally wiped them.”
Jonathan’s gaze deepened, “What about recently?”
“Estelle’s circle is quite simple, Craig and Gwen from the crew, occasionally goes to Smokestack BBQ for lunch, and interacts with the lady from the Sampson family and people from Snowy Studios!”
“Who’s the man in the picture?” Jonathan asked.
He couldn’t confront her, but he needed to know! More importantly, he needed to know if there was some dark force behind Estelle
“One of the partners at Snowy Studios, Jason.” Nate paused, “Their relationship does seem closer than with others. Jason doesn’t often come to the studio, but every time he does, he calls Estelle into his office”
Jonathan’s face turned frosty, “Who is Jason?”
“Quintin’s apprentice and also the eldest son of the Gilder family in B City”
Jonathan frowned, it was someone from the Gilder family!
But how could the Gilder family be involved with international dark forces? That was impossible! What was the relationship between Estelle and Jason?
Jonathan suddenly remembered something, “Whose house was Emily living in at the Royal Mansion?”
