He suddenly snatched Amiee’s phone, tossed it aside, leaning his whole body towards and gazing at Amiee. He had something to say, but seeing her face, his mind went blank, totally forgetting what he wanted to say.
Amiee just took a bath, her eyes dark and moist, her lips also red, her faint expression stirred a strong impulse in him.
He forgot what he wanted to say, just staring at her lips, leaning in again.
Amiee frowned, “Josiah, you’re drunk again, aren’t you?”
“I’m not drunk.” Josiah looked sober, “just want to kiss you.”
Amiee looked straight at him, “What if I like someone else?”
“What did you say?”Josiah squinted his eyes.
The image of Amiee and her Hushhush together flashed in his mind, a-pang in his heart.
He gave a self-mocking smile, avoiding Amiee’s gaze, and stood up to leave.
Amiee suddenly grabbed his wrist, holding tightly.
Josiah turned back to look at her, sneered, “What are you trying to do, you want to have both me and your Hushhush?”
Amiee looked up at him, her heart beating faster but her voice low, “Stay tonight!”
Josiah’s eyes widened.
Amiee became calm, “Go take a shower. I’ll wait for you in the room.”
After saying that, she got up and went to the bedroom.
While Josiah was showering, he kept thinking about Amiee’s words and her expression just now. He took a deep breath, grabbed a towel, wrapped it around his body, and walked out of the bathroom.
The floor lamp in the living room was still on. Josiah turned off the light, sat on the couch for a while, then walked to Amiee’s bedroom.
The bedroom light was off, only the light from the window shone on the bed. The girl had taken off her outer nightgown, curled up on the dark blue sheets, the dim light fell on her white skin, breathtakingly beautiful.
Josiah stood for a while, his breathing gradually becoming heavy. He slowly walked to the bed and sat on the edge.
“Why?” Josiah, his back to Amiee, asked confusedly.
“Don’t ask so many questions!” Amiee’s voice was indifferent, “If you don’t want to, you can leave!”
Josiah was irritated, he suddenly turned around, grabbed Amiee’s shoulders and pushed her down on the bed, leaned over and kissed her.
Amiee closed her eyes, her arms around his shoulders, closed her eyes in response.
When Josiah was in college in B City, he lived in a two-bedroom luxury dormitory. In his sophomore year, his roommate got a girlfriend.
One Saturday afternoon, his roommate thought he was out and brought his girlfriend back to the dorm.
He was awakened by the noise in his room, pushed the door to go out, but was stunned by the scene in the living room.
It was his first time witnessing such a scene. His roommate seemed totally comfortable, but he was so embarrassed that his face turned red. Just as he was about to close the door and go back to his room, his roommate’s girlfriend suddenly looked up at him and winked.
It was a provocative look, Josiah froze, looking at this woman, he suddenly felt very uncomfortable.
Possibly due to previous unpleasant encounters, he had developed a lack of expectations for such situations, even growing indifferent towards the girls who pursued him.
He didn’t date in college, even when he went to nightclubs, he had no interest in the women who approached him.
He once wondered if he was gay?
Until he met Amiee, he realized that he could also have impulses and expectations.
And tonight, he finally understood that this feeling was actually more beautiful than he could ever imagine, making him lose control several times.
Amiee was nowhere to be found.
