When the two of them got home, Estelle put away the groceries Emily bought in the fridge and asked her to rest on the sofa. After taking Emily’s temperature, she was relieved to find that her fever had subsided. 

Soon, the hotel staff delivered their food, all being light in flavor 

Taking advantage of Emily’s illness, Jonathan wanted Estelle to eat lighter meals as well. 

Estelle didn’t complain and obediently served a bowl of beef liver and mushroom soup for both her and Emily 

Emily asked. “How’s it going at the shoot? Is anyone giving you trouble?” 

Yvonne was quite influential in the industry, so all eyes would be on her Emily was always worried that Yvonne would take the opportunity to make things difficult 

for Estelle 

“No, it’s all good” Estelle swallowed some broccoli and smiled. 

Everything had been smooth on set recently. With Malloy no longer visiting, even the gossip had dwindled 

Hattie and Yvonne hadn’t given her any trouble either 

Eating slowly. Emily said “Estelle in a few days, I might not be staying at the Royal Mansion anymore. Remember to eat on time, and avoid cold food since the weathers getting colder. Listen to Jonathan‘ 

Estelle frowned. “Why are you moving? Did you have a fight with Charlie again?” 

No wonder Charlie hadn’t been around lately. 

“We didn’t fight!” Emily quickly shook her head and explained, “My mom’s health hasn’t been too great recently, and she’s staying with my brother I want to move in with them to take care of her” 

Estelle asked, “What’s wrong with your mom? Has she been to the hospital for a check–up?” 

“It’s nothing senous, just her old problems,” Emily casually replied. 

Estelle nodded with understanding. “Once your mom is feeling better, you can move back in.” 

Emily’s throat bitter, so she lowered her head to focus on her food, not wanting Estelle to notice anything strange. She replied in her usual tone, “Sure, I miss you too. After my mom’s health improves, I’ll move back.” 

Estelle didn’t doubt her and merely reminded her to properly care for her mother 

The next day, Estelle returned to Snowy Studios and went back to the set after a day off. She discovered that a new actor had amived at the set 

The previous actress who played Sanya Locke had a minor car accident and injured her leg. Mayfield had to find a replacement actor at short notice. 

The new actress was Nanette Waldo, who was also a student of Art Studios in J City 

While working, Craig gossiped with her “One Mr. Hearn leaves and now we have another person with connections.” 

Estelle casually asked, “Who has connections?” 

“It’s Nanette, obviously. An investor paid to get her in here. I heard her investor has an even higher status than Malloy!” Craig glanced around and lowered his voice. “Ms. Waldo has quite the temper, she made two assistants cry yesterday. When you see her, stay away” 

Nanette? 

Estelle felt the name was familiar but didn’t think too much about it, just nodding lightly 

She organized the costumes, recorded them one by one, and handed them over to the stage management team. 

As she was working, she saw a girl come out of the makeup room and retreat to a comer, crying uncontrollably. A few friendly staff members went over to comfort her 

Craig winked at Estelle, “See, another one’s been scolded. I wonder if Nanette came to act like a diva on set or actually work on the film. Even Yvonne wasn’t this arrogant!” 

Estelle whispered, “Just focus on work, it’s none of our business.”
