Cammella was left speechless by Jason’s accusations, staring at him with tears streaming down her face 

Simone was also furious, Sir, you must have been fooled by Estelle! She hasn’t studied design and didn’t even graduate from college How could she possibly have done the design? You know Carmella, she’s a student of Mr. Albert and has been praised by him many times. She’s so outstanding, why would she plagiarize Estelle?’ 

Bennett added, “The studio must have made a mistake I believe its just a misunderstanding, and I hope that you can see the truth” 

Jason glanced at the Macclain family members indifferently, took a deep breath, and turned to Estelle “Now I understand why you 

chose to live outside 

Simone’s face turned sour. “What do you mean by that? What’s going on between you and Estelle?” 

Jason shot a cold look at Simone “How much more malicious do you want to be towards your own daughter?” 

Simone was taken aback and fell silent, looking away awkwardly. 

“Since you don’t believe me or Estelle, let’s let the facts speak for themselves! Jason said and then called the studio. “Send me the surveillance footage that you copied today, now!” 

Carmella’s face turned pale. 

In less than two minutes, the video was sent to Jason. He handed the phone to Bennett, ‘See for yourself. At first, Carmella said that Estelle went through her drawer on Friday. But Estelle proved that she had already completed the design on Thursday afternoon. In this video, you can clearly see Carmella finding Estelle’s design in Inman’s files and taking pictures of it with her phone 

Simone rushed over, eager to see the evidence for herself. “Let me see! 

Bennett had already viewed the footage and stared at Estelle with disbelief. ‘Carmella, what is the meaning of this?” 

Carmella shook her head in a panic, tears streaming down her face. “I didn’t do it! I didn’t plagiarize Estelle’s design! They’re trying to set me up! The video must be manipulated!” 

Jason sneered, his voice laced with sarcasm. “So now even surveillance footage can be falsified? 

“No way!” Simone pushed the phone away, her eyes filled with alarm. ‘Carmella couldn’t have possibly copied Estelle’s design!” 

“Mom!” Carmella grabbed her hand, “You have to believe me! I really didn’t do it!” 

“I believe you!” Simone lovingly looked at Carmella. “You’re my pride and joy. There’s no way you’d do something like this. You must have been framed!” 

“Framed?” Jason’s voice turned cold. “The evidence is solid! You’d rather believe a liar than your own daughter?” 

“Carmella isn’t like that!” Simone continued to defend Carmella. 

“Let’s call the police!” Estelle, who had been silent so far, suddenly spoke up. 

Everyone was stunned and turned to look at her. 

Estelle’s eyes were determined. ‘Since you insist that I framed Carmella, let’s have the police investigate. I must remind you, Carmella, once they get involved, the final result will be publicly announced. You better think about whether you can handle the consequences.” Carmella suddenly became desperate. A public announcement meant that everybody would know she was a plagiarist, which would ruin her future in this industry! 

“I’ll call the police!” Jason took his phone back. 

“No, don’t call the police!” Carmella rushed over and stopped Jason. Please, don’t call the police!” 

“Carmella!” Simone looked at her in shock. 

“Mom, we can’t call the police!” Carmella turned around and cried. 

Upon seeing Carmella like this, Simone’s heart sank. “Did you… really plagiarize Estelle’s design?”
