Hattie knew that the assistant director was intentionally belittling her to flatter Yvonne. She felt angry but acted even more humble and gentle. “Yes, I hope Ms. Yvonne can give me lots of advice when we cooperate!”

The assistant director said, “Even a little guidance from Ms. Yvonne would be enough for you to benefit for a lifetime.”

Hattie remained smiling. “You’re right!”

Yvonne also acted modest for a while, then scanned the banquet hall and called Riley over, laughing, “I see Estelle, looks like she came alone, take good care of her,”

Riley agreed and went over.

Hattie was a bit surprised, not expecting Yvonne and Estelle to be friends too.

She suddenly harbored some hatred, as if all the people she disliked were together!

When Yvonne left, Hattie stopped a waiter from serving her a drink and whispered, “Do you see the lady sitting under the window? She’s Ms. Yvonne’s friend, take extra care of her, give her a few extra drinks.”

The waiter immediately agreed and headed toward Estelle with drinks.

Estelle was concentrating on playing a game, drinking the wine next to her like water. She thought the wine she was drinking was the same fruity wine Inman had given her earlier. When her head started feeling dizzy, she realized that she had unknowingly drunk three or four types of wine.

She put down her phone, rubbed her temples, and when she looked up again, a man was sitting next to her.

The man was in his thirties, dressed in a suit and slightly plump. His oily face looked at Estelle, “Why is the young lady drinking alone?” Estelle felt dizzy but her eyes were cold, “What do you need?”

The man called a waiter, got Estelle another drink, “I’ve been watching you, you’re the only one dressed differently in the whole banquet hall. Although you’re not in a fancy dress, you’re the most beautiful here!”

He said the sweet talks skillfully to please Estelle and leaned closer, “Allow me to introduce myself, I’m the person in charge of FilmWorks and an investor in Mr. Mayfield’s films. You’re so gorgeous, are you interested in playing a role in a movie? I can help!”

Estelle’s expression was cold, “No need!”

Just as the man was about to say something else, Estelle’s phone rang. She didn’t hesitate to answer, “Hello?”

Estelle raised her eyebrows, looking in Jonathan’s direction unconsciously.

Estelle turned back, “Stop following me!”

After saying that, she left through the side door and followed Jonathan’s directions.

The man who had tried to strike up a conversation with her didn’t give up and followed her, “Where are you going, Miss? I’m familiar with this place, I can help show you the way!”

Estelle was slightly annoyed and was about to say something when two men in black suits suddenly appeared in front of her. They nodded at her, then walked towards the man behind her and said coldly, “Mr. Walton, Mr. Lamont requests your presence!”

Chase Walton was stunned, “Mr. Lamont?”

“Come with us!” The bodyguards didn’t wait for his agreement, grabbed the man without a word, and quickly walked away.

Chase was frightened, “Hey, who are you guys, put me down!”

“I’m going to shout for help!”

“Put me down now!”
