Magdalen went off to dance, leaving Estelle as the only one on the sofa. She played some games with Henson for a while, and then a whiff of perfume drifted over. Estelle looked up and saw Hattie.

Hattle was wearing a deep blue backless dress adorned with diamonds, looking radiant and approachable. “Estelle,” she greeted.

Her attitude was much more friendly than before, and she said with a smile, “I just saw Mr. Lamont. Estelle, you came with him, right?”
Estelle had had four or five different drinks this afternoon, and she was now feeling somewhat uneasy. She only smiled faintly without saying a word.
“Mr. Lamont must treat you very well, huh?” Hattie’s eyes sparkled when mentioning Jonathan.
Staying in the big comfortable sofa, Estelle tilted her head slightly and smiled at her, her voice pure and innocent. “Ms. Hattie, do you like him?”
Hattie’s face flushed with embarrassment, and she looked down, smiling. “How could I deserve Mr. Lamont?” So she admitted she liked him.

Estelle blinked, becoming more curious. “What really happened? Tell me everything. My grandma has been pushing him to find a girlfriend and get married lately. If you two are really something, I can put in a good word for you with my grandma and make Jonathan take your relationship more serious.”
