The manager glanced at Brooke and immediately instructed the front desk, “Find out how much this lady has topped up her membership, refund her double that amount, and don’t let her in again!”
Brooke’s eyes widened how dare you?”
“This is Estelles shop and she can decide everything in here” Manley sneered “Or do you want to buy this place? You don’t have enough money, do you? Call your dad and let him come! I’ll wait for him here!
Brooke knew about the Scott family’s power in J City. Even if she would be humiliated, she dared not quarrel with Manley If she really angered him, her family couldn’t bear the consequences!
Wendy tugged at her sleeve, trying to find an excuse, “Brooke, let’s go first, alright?”
“Hold on!” The manager came over, handing her a stack of cash, coldly saying “Our shop does not welcome you Please don’t come again!”
Brooke was trembling with anger, and glared at Estelle before turning and hastily leaving
Wendy glanced at the cash, took it, and followed Brooke
Saul looked at Estelle, feeling awkward and unfamiliar, as if he was meeting her for the first time. Even if he still liked her, he could only hide it in his heart. He finally looked at her one last time and turned to leave
The dessert shop gradually quieted down, turning the manager’s attention to Estelle, “Boss, is there anything else you need?”
On Estelles behalf. Manley replied, “Nah, it’s all good. Go work, I’m going to have a word with your boss here”
“Okay!” The manager smiled and nodded, instructing the employees to resume their work, and respectfully left the room.
With the commotion over, Emily was puzzled but noticed Manley was about to talk to Estelle. She decided to return to her seat and wait for Estelle there
Estelle realized Manley was still holding her wrist, quickly pulling away, “What are you doing here?”
Manley switched to a smiling demeanor, saying, “You’re here, so I’m here. Maybe there’s a telepathy between us.”
Estelle had n idea what to do with Manley. He wanted to pursue her and he always helped her. So now, she was unsure whether she was annoyed or grateful to him.
Manley sighed, thinking about touching her head but deciding against it to avoid getting hit. Instead, he just smiled. “How could you let yourself be bullied like this in your
own shop?
Estelle raised an eyebrow. “Even if you didn’t come, I wouldn’t have been at a loss!”
She might not outwit Brooke or Wendy in a verbal fight, but she’d definitely beat them in a physical one!
Manley couldnt help laughing. Remember, when someone starts talking crap, just hit them right away, and don’t give them a chance to say another word!”

Manley rarely aw her this easygoing with him, and it made his heart race. But he remembered seeing Estelle with Jonathan at Blue Casis and asked, “Did you and Jonathan get back together
Estelle nodded. “Yes”
Manley touched her forehead with an exasperated look on his face “Why are you still with him? I warned you that Jonathan isn’t a good guy, and he’ll swindle you out of everything you have?”
Estelle touched her forehead, frowning at him, “Are you saying he’s scamming me for money?”
