Austin asked puzzled, “The whole dock, only you, Mr. Flemmings, isn’t afraid of Jonathan. Where can I find someone else? If you don’t wanna do business with me, at least tell me why?”
“No reason, I just don’t wanna do this anymore.” Xavier smoked, his black beard unconstrained.
Seeing Xavier’s attitude, Austin couldn’t help but getting angry, “Everyone says you, Mr. Flemmings, are a man of your word, but I think it’s all
bullshit!”
Zachary frowned and shouted, “What did you say?”
“Shut up!” Xavier scolded Zachary, then turned to Austin, “I’m definitely not doing this deal. We won’t owe you any favors from the past. Either chop off my hand, or take the money and leave!”
Austin sneered, “Fine, you guys are ruthless! I’ve fallen out of favor now, but one day when I rise again, you’ll see how I deal with you!”
With that, Austin scooped up the money on the table, shot a glance at the two, and left angrily.
When Austin left, Zachary dragged a chair and sat opposite Xavier, frowning, “Boss, why didn’t we do business with Austin? You’re not really afraid of Jonathan, are you?”

Zachary shook his head immediately. “Could it be… about that young girl who just came?”
Xavier pinched a poker card between his index and middle fingers and threw it out. The card flew directly into the wall. He had a light expression and continued to throw the next one.
Seeing him silent, Zachary felt he guessed right and cautiously asked, “Who is that young girl?”
Xavier glanced at him coldly, “Don’t poke your nose in! Sending a message to the guys, they better stay away from her. Whoever messes with her, don’t blame me for not thinking about our brotherhood.”
Zachary shivered and tried to ask, “Boss, are you in love with that girl? No biggie, even if she’s Jonathan’s woman, we’ll help you snatch her!” Xavier suddenly laughed and kicked the table, “Get lost. Do you take yourself as robbers, going around snatching people! I tell you guys, settle down, work hard to earn money and support your family, and stop thinking about weird stuff!”
Zachary immediately said, “Boss, don’t worry, we won’t do illegal things. Yesterday, Lee even helped an old man cross the road, and I didn’t tell you about it.”
Xavier threw the poker card, “Don’t freaking lie to me, that was his uncle!”
“You knew?” Zachary rubbed his head, grinning.
Estelle returned to the Royal Mansion. When washing her face in the bathroom, she saw a bruise on her forehead from the wine bottle on the sofa. No wonder the taxi driver had been giving her strange looks.
By the time Jonathan came home in the evening, Estelle was already asleep. Without turning on the lights, he kissed her in the dark. When he kissed her forehead, Estelle instinctively dodged.

Jonathan didn’t mind at that moment. When he took her to the bathroom for a bath and turned on the light, he saw the bruise on her forehead and his face darkened, “What happened?”

Jonathan pinched her waist hard, “Can you make up a more believable story? Tell me the truth, where did you go this afternoon?”
