Susan whispered, “On Estelle’s first day at the company, she went up to the eighth floor and bullied Melody. We all said she must be something else. Sure enough, it didn’t take two days for us to realize that Estelle was Mr. Lamont’s girl.” 

“She’s with Mr. Lamont, even Mamie wouldn’t dare to mess with. No matter how busy we are, we don’t dare let Estelle help us. If she’s unhappy, we’d lose our jobs!” 

To be honest, Estelle’s attitude is even worse than I described. She just doesn’t respect anyone. If I told her that Mr. Scott was looking for her, she probably wouldn’t care! But there’s nothing we can do, since her man is Mr. Lamont!” 

Susan couldn’t go against Manley. She repeated what she had said earlier

Susan immediately shook her head, “I’m sorry, Estelle, please forgive me!” 

Ali glared at Susan resentfully. If it wasn’t for her stirring the pot, he wouldn’t have tried to echo her to please Manley. He kicked Susan, “You slut, if you ever talk behind Ms. Macclain’s back again, never mind Manley being unhappy, I won’t let you off either!” 

Susan stumbled and fell to the ground but didn’t dare to fight back. She sobbed quietly with her head down. 

Everyone in the room was terrified, looking at Estelle in awe. The currently was telling them that not only Jonathan and Charlie were helping Estelle, even Manley, who never got along with Jonathan, had come to protect her. 

Estelle looked at Ali and casually asked, “Who are you?” 

Ali immediately stepped forward with a big smile, “Hello, Ms. Macclain! I’m Ali, and I came with Manley. He sent me to invite you over.” 

Estelle asked, “Manley?” 

Hearing her say Manley’s name directly, Ali figured Estelle must have a close relationship with him! Ali’s attitude became even more respectful, nodding quickly, “Yes, yes!” 

Estelle picked up a book from the table, continued to check her information, and said indifferently, “I won’t go with you. His private room is not my responsibility. Let someone else go.” 

Ali hesitated, what did that mean? 

Did the two of them not know each other? 

Was this woman really disrespecting Manley? 

He was very scared, “Ms. Macclain, please go over there, I beg you!” 

Estelle was taking notes in her book and asked softly, “Why did Manley ask you to come beg me?” 

Ali lowered his head guiltily, hesitating, “Ms. Macclain, I… I didn’t know you and Manley knew each other. I was misled by that slut Susan and said some unpleasant things about you. Manley got angry and said if I didn’t bring you over, he’d have someone throw me off the eighth floor!” 

Estelle wanted to laugh, “just go back, he won’t really throw you down. He won’t kill anyone!” 

Ali was on the verge of tears, his eyes full of fear, “Manley would really throw me out! I spoke without thinking earlier, please forgive me and help me. Whenever I see you again, whatever you say, I’ll do it!” 

Estelle’s face was cold, “You insulted me and want my help. Why should I listen to you?” 

Ali realized the gentle–looking girl in front of him had quite a temper. He was about to kneel down, “Then I’ll kneel down for you. I’ll stay like this until you forgive me!” 

The room was quiet except for the two of them talking. 

Seeing Estelle not speaking, Ali made up his mind to kneel, but the door was suddenly opened, and Mamie came in, her voice heavy, “There are guests in the private room, their orders have been placed, what are you all doing?“
