Charlie turned to the person next to him and said, “Get Garrison in here for me, tell him Mr. Lamont has something to talk to him about!” The guy immediately agreed and went to look for Garrison.

Soon, Garrison came in with a big smile on his face, showing respect as he greeted, “Mr. Lamont, I heard you were looking for me!”
Jonathan hummed in response, his tone not revealing any emotions, “Come over here!”
“Alright!” Garrison approached him with a smile, “It’s been a while since the last time I saw you. My dad said he owes you big time for helping out last time, and wants to treat you to dinner sometime.”
Jonathan’s face remained emotionless, “you got any cigarettes?”
Garrison immediately took out a cigarette from his pocket and handed it to Jonathan, then reached for the lighter on the coffee table to light it up for him.
“Is this how you light a cigarette?”
Jonathan suddenly spoke up in a cold tone and fiercely raised his leg, kicking Garrison in the chest.
Garrison staggered backward, slamming into the wall with a bang, and then screamed in pain as he fell to the carpet, clutching his
chest.
Everyone in the room was stunned, having no idea what Garrison had done to anger Jonathan so much.
Only Charlie sat on the sofa calmly, spoke to the rest of the crowd with a smile, “Don’t worry about it, keep the party going!”
No one dared to interfere, who would want to mess with Jonathan?
Garrison took a while to catch his breath, crawled over, and knelt on one knee, “Mr. Lamont, I know I messed up! I won’t ever touch that girl again!”
He’s not stupid, Charlie was right there, and with what Jonathan had just said, how could he not understand?
Jonathan looked down at him coldly and said softly, “Get lost, and don’t let me see you around here ever again!”
“I’ll go, I’ll go now!” Garrison hurriedly got up, walked backward a few steps, and then turned and fled.
“Are you trying to teach warn everyone by making an example of him?” Charlie got a drink for Jonathan and laughed, “You’re clearly mad at her, but you’re still clearing the way for her. That’s not how you pursue a girl, you know!”
Jonathan put on a “not in the mood, don’t mess with me” face, lit up his cigarette and said, “Which eye of yours saw me pursuing her?” “Alright, keep lying to yourself then,” Charlie glanced at him, “keep convincing yourself that you’re not into her!”
Jonathan cast a glance at the doorway, and seemed somewhat distracted as he brought up a new topic, “Lightning Communication is recently bottom–fishing, and most of the funds have gone out, I’m afraid they’re getting ready to run away with the money. What do you think?”
Charlie scoffed, “Their boss is watching them from behind, they won’t get away!”
As the two chatted, someone knocked on the door and asked the people playing poker in the room, “This is the wine you guys ordered, do you want me to open it now?”
Jonathan looked over, glanced at the young girl’s face under the dim light, and then quickly lowered his head, nonchalantly smoking his cigarette.
Charlie grinned and said, “Estelle, over here, I ordered it!”
Estelle came over with the wine in her hands. The room had a few dim lights and three or four people were sitting on a sofa. At first, she only saw Charlie and greeted him with a warm smile, “Mr. Jarnes, do you want me to open the wine?”
Charlie laughed and said, “Go ahead, and serve your uncle first!”
Estelle was surprised and looked at the person beside him, finally noticing Jonathan.
Jonathan was looking at his phone and didn’t lift his head, speaking indifferently, “here is my glass.”
Estelle gave a slight nod, opened the bottle, and poured the wine into the glass, placing it in front of Jonathan.
Charlie turned and joked, “Why’re you still looking so cold? Garrison lit that cigarette wrong and made you upset, but you’ve taught him a lesson, let it go.”
Hearing this, Estelle was stunned and looked at Jonathan He had taught Garrison a lesson earlier?
