Mr Kress was worried that Gwen might come after him for revenge, probably because she was still in a state of despair.
Craig’s head was spinning. He suddenly remembered when he first met Gwen at the Movie Center with Estelle. Gwen was outspoken, adorable, food–loving, and a bit stingy. The three of them would often hang out in the small yard, laughing, messing around, and chatting.
In fact, Estelle didn’t join in their idle chatter much. Most of the time, it was him and Gwen who were having fun and talking.
Mr. Mayfield even thought he had a crush on Gwen, and advised him to be cautious.
To be honest, he did have a slight affection for Gwen. But he knew that the gap between them would become bigger and bigger In the future, and while they could be friends, but there was absolutely no future in being lovers, so he tried his best to suppress his feelings.
But what he didn’t expect was that the thing that would separate them wasn’t their changing statuses, but Gwen’s greed and hypocrisy.
He regretted his poor judgment of people, hated Gwen for hurting Estelle, and felt extreme disgust towards her. Hearing about what she was going through, and thinking about the past, filled his heart with pain. She knew all along that Jonathan was into Estelle, so why did she blindly pursue him?

“Do you still want to hit me?” After all this, Clarice became extremely negative and weary of the world, deciding to leave the entertainment industry after finishing this film.
“Hitting you would dirty my hands!” Craig gave her a disgusted look, and took Estelle away.
The blow Gwen suffered was even harder than Clarice’s.
Clarice had been in the entertainment industry for many years, and had seen all sorts of people, but Gwen was different.
From the moment she entered the industry, she was favored by a big director, then signed with Firefly Media Group, and everything went smoothly for her. Later, with Jonathan looking out for her, no one dared to mess with her.
That day and night, both her body and spirit suffered a great blow.
She lay at home for two days and nights, not eating or drinking, until her agent Rena showed up at her doorstep.
“What happened?‘ Rena asked anxiously, “You’re not picking up calls from the crew, they’re all calling me, my phone’s about to explode.
Gwen lay on the bed, her eyes empty, looking totally lost.
‘Speak up. You’re really pissing me off!” Rena asked patiently, “Did you break up with Mr. Lamont?”
Hearing Jonathan’s name, Gwen’s eyes finally showed some change, filled with hatred.
“Is it really about Mr. Lamont? Rena shook her arm, causing her blanket to fall, revealing her shoulder full of brulses.
Rena, with her insider knowledge, naturally understood what had happened. Her eyes widened in shock, “Who did this?!
Gwen seemed a bit flustered, and quickly pulled the blanket up, wrapping herself tightly, but tears started flowing down her face.
“Who was it?” Rena asked cautiously.
Tears streamed down Gwen’s face, her eyes filled with intense hatred, her features contorting as she gripped the blanket so hard her hand turned white, I’ll get my revenge, I swear!‘
Seeing her like this, Rena froze for a moment, ‘Revenge on whom?‘
“Estelle!” Gwen growled through clenched teeth, “Even if it cost me everything, I would never let her live!”
A day later, when Estelle arrived on set, she noticed the crew were looking at her a bit funny.
Estelle didn’t pay it much mind, and quickly got to work.
She had prepared the costume list for all the actors for the day, but after making a round, she couldn’t find her assistant. She stepped outside to find her sitting on a chair, engrossed in her phone, looking both
shocked and fixated.
“Ana!” Estelle called her.
Ana didn’t look up even after being called twice. It was only when Estelle approached that she was startled and quickly flipped her phone over onto her Jap, awkwardly saying, “Estelle!”
