His mood suddenly improved a lot at least she was capable of saying thanks.
He sneered, seemingly asking casually, “So, you like the mature style?”
Elvis was 32 and lan was 24, an eight–year gap between them.
Elvis exuded a mature charm that came with age like a vintage wine.
Tan, however, had a more domineering and wild aura. Despite his high status, once his anger or passion was aroused, he wouldn’t back down..

Hearing her denial, lan’s mood improved even more.
“What brought you here tonight?”
lan obviously wasn’t going to admit that he came following her, “socializing.”
“Oh.”
“Did you think I came for you?”
Maja tugged at the corner of her mouth and said, “How dare I? I won’t disturb your socializing then.”
lan lowered his eyes, becoming very quiet. After a while, he asked.
“Wanna grab dinner together?”
He was both persistent and awkward.
“No, I still need to discuss cooperation with Elvis.“”
lan’s chest tightened, and he scoffed, “Whatever.”
