Maja, worried about being seen by the incoming maid, couldn’t help but push lan away.
“Mr. Raymond.”
lan let go of her, then grabbed her leg to check.
“She kicked you. Are you really okay?”
Maja shook her head. Although Mia’s kick really hurt, fortunately, the angle wasn’t too bad.
lan breathed a sigh of relief, then pulled her over and started lifting her skirt.
Sitting on his lap. Maja nervously looked outside the courtyard. Seeing no maid, she felt a bit relieved but still scared.
“There are other people in the villa.”
lan didn’t seem to care. She looked stunning tonight, the skirt making her skin look delicate, and her short hair gave her a fresh and crisp look.
But this seemingly aloof woman seemed quite soft at the moment.
Unable to help herself, Maja moaned. It was too late to refuse now.

But then his phone rang. Frowning, he didn’t answer.
The phone kept ringing as if it wouldn’t stop until he answered,
Maja also found the sound annoying and couldn’t help but lean on him.
“Answer the phone.”
lan patted her back and answered the call.
Holden’s voice came from the other end.
“Get back here within half an hour! Or face the consequences!”

Ian threw the phone away, deeply kissing Maja while reluctantly saying, “I have to go back for an overseas meeting later. It might be late. Sleep first, don’t wait for me.”

Out of strength, Maja heard him saying, “This is just an appetizer. We’ll continue when I get back.”
Obviously, he was not satisfied yet, but due to urgent matters, he had to leave first.
Seeing her blushing face, he really didn’t want to go. He now experienced a strong emotion of not wanting to part.
Holding the back of her head, he kissed her deeply.
Both of them were sweating from their foreheads. They could feel each other’s heat at such a close distance.
Maja couldn’t stand it anymore. She felt like a paper kite in the wind, constantly being rolled up, but the kite string was firmly held in lan’s hand. She couldn’t break free.
She liked this treatment, which made her tremble.
lan got out of the car and told her to rest for a while.
He then got into another car and hurried home.
The house was quiet, and the servants hadn’t slept yet.
Naturally, Holden hadn’t slept either, already waiting for him with a whip in his hand.
lan glanced at it, then naturally knelt down.
In the past, in the military, Holden would whip him till he was bloody, but he was stubborn, recovering for half a month and then relapsing.
He only remembered sporadic memories of the military. Everything else was forgotten.

“Do you want to disgrace me at my age?!”
lan knelt there, motionless.
Holden paced around the room angrily, “I told you to marry Maja. You said you didn’t like her. I thought you weren’t interested in other women either, but now, for a stranger, you’ve made enemies with the Haskins family. I’ve known the Haskins family for so many years, and you’ve known Fitch for so many years. Didn’t you think of the consequences when you acted?!”
The more Holden thought about it, the angrier he got, gritting his teeth, “I want to see what kind of woman has you spinning!”
Standing tall, lan showed a hint of indifference at these words.
“Grandpa, I’ve said I’m not tired of her yet.”
The next second, the whip landed on his body.
He didn’t even frown, but the butler at the side was pleading.
“Holden, calm down, Mr. Raymond is still young. This is normal.”
But Holden coughed and hit him while saying, “Normal? He’s just never received a good education, and he doesn’t know how to like people! You keep saying you are not tired of her. I think you like her but don’t realize it! I’ve wasted my time raising you!”
Upon hearing this, lan stiffened and looked at Holden in surprise.
