She rushed out of the house still in her pajamas, just throwing on a coat.
“I’ve already had the staff prepare the room,” she said.
Maja mistakenly thought lan was here for business.
He asked, “Is there anyone else in your room?”
“No.”
Hearing this, the annoyance in lan’s eyes lightened a bit.
“Then there’s no need for the fuss.”
Maja was taken aback, then slowly led him to her place.
She had already taken a bath before bed, and now lan was in the bathroom.
Maja handed him the prepared pajamas.
The standards here at Riverside Haven were even higher than those of a five–star hotel in Greenfield. After all, this place was meant to accommodate. VIPs.
The pajamas were all made of pure silk, and everyone got a new set every day, which was only delivered after being disinfected. Guests could even take them home.
She had asked for an extra set of men’s pajamas earlier. The staff gave her a knowing look, as they had all seen lan come in.
They all recognized that face, as he was a regular here.
Besides, his looks were truly unforgettable.
After getting the clothes, Maja handed the pajamas to lan.
When lan came out, his hair was still dripping wet.-
Women usually bring their own toiletries and pajamas when they go out. Maja also brought towels this time.
Seeing his hair dripping, she handed him a towel.
lan took the towel and casually wiped his hair.
Maja glanced at her suitcase and found another towel in it, feeling a bit embarrassed.
It seemed she had made a mistake. The towel she gave lan was for wiping her body.
“Mr. Raymond.”
She called him, feeling extremely embarrassed.
“You should change the towel. The one I gave you is for wiping my body. I’m sorry, I made a mistake.”
She immediately gave him a new one.
lan looked at the towel in her hand, then at the one in his hand. The two towels were completely different colors.
“Did you do this on purpose?”
Maja quickly grabbed a hairdryer and said, “Then just don’t use a towel; use a hairdryer.”
He seemed a bit pissed and just plopped down on a chair.
“Dry my hair for me.”
Maja was taken aback, then plugged in the hairdryer. She held his hair in one hand and the hairdryer in the other.
lan’s hair was very soft.
Maja had never dared to touch his hair before. It was a new sensation.
It was like seeing a very talented celebrity on TV, and suddenly that celebrity was next to her, letting her touch his hair.
He was cold by nature, but his hair was unexpectedly soft; only the part near his neck was a bit hard.
Maja tried to ignore the strange sensation of her fingers sliding through his hair.
But then lan turned around. He was back–facing her before, but now he was facing her.
He sat on the chair; now Maja was standing taller than him.
Then his hands wrapped around her waist, his forehead against her chest.
The hairdryer in Maja’s hand almost fell to the ground, but she held back her inner turmoil.
lan held her tightly, not speaking; only the sound of the hairdryer echoed in the room.
Her heart raced uncontrollably.
Facing someone like lan and being heid tightly by him out of the blue, anyone would be unable to control their emotions at this moment.
Maja’s usual composure was now replaced by panic.
It was as if something was out of control.

After the sound of the hairdryer stopped, she bent down to wrap up the cord.
lan was still holding her, his arms taut with muscle. He was very strong.
I have not checked in here for a while as I thought it was getting boring, but the last few posts are great quality so I guess I will add you back to my everyday bloglist. You deserve it my friend 🙂
