She was about to bolt toward lan, but he just opened the bedroom door and walked out.
“Darling!”
Tricia yelled again; her eyes full of malice.
The more he despised her, the better for her!
Lucky her!
“Darling, I want to go with you.”
Tricia was actually scared shitless, but she kept on provoking him on purpose.
Sure enough, lan stopped in his tracks. He turned around abruptly; his voice was deathly calm.
“I can make someone disappear very easily.”
Tricia’s face changed instantly, no longer daring to provoke him.
lan left straight away and saw Carlene downstairs.
Carlene had found her cell phone signal, knowing that it was in this hotel.
Seeing lan, her face lit up instantly. She sprinted over and grabbed his arm.
“lan, I lost my phone; the signal shows it’s here. But what are you doing here?”
lan glanced at her, “Let’s head back.”
“Did someone’use my phone to do something bad?”
“Yes.”
If he really made Maja disappear, and one day Holden wanted to see her, he would see through a body double in a heartbeat.
So even though he detested this woman, he couldn’t just send her away.
He’s been blocking the Pennyfeather group’s business, but this woman didn’t know when to quit.
He got in the car right away.
Carlene stood outside in a very good mood. As long as lan was willing to come, it meant he cared for her.
“lan, you go ahead, I’ll have someone look for my phone.”
lan nodded, and told her, “Get back soon.”
And then he was gone.
Carlene glanced smugly at the hotel, calling down her two bodyguards from the car. She showed them a picture of Tricia.
“Find out which room this woman is staying in.”
The bodyguards quickly got Tricia’s room number. Carlene smirked, heading up in the elevator with them.
Meanwhile, Tricia was just about to get dressed when she heard a knock on the door. Thinking it was lan, she happily opened it, only to be greeted by
Carlene.
Tricia’s face changed instantly, she backed away a few steps.
Seeing her sexy clothes, Carlene slapped her hard across the face.
Then she turned to her two bodyguards.
“Beat her up and send her to the hospital for a few days.”
After saying that, she found her phone and saw Tricia’s disgusting clothes.
She laughed coldly, her eyes were full of malice, and she suddenly changed her mind.
“Keep her here, have some fun tonight, I’ve had the stairwell cameras taken care of.”
The two bodyguards exchanged glances; they had done that before.
Tricia’s pupils contracted, she was about to beg for mercy, saying she was Maja, but the bodyguards already silenced her.
Carlene left without a second thought.
Tricia’s face turned pale, she was already weak, and this sudden turn of events almost made her faint.
It was all Maja’s fault!
“I am Maja, lan’s wife! If you harm me, the Raymond family will never let you off!”
The bodyguard laughed coldly.
“So, you’re lan’s wife, huh? If Ms. Shepard knew, she’d just make us work harder.”
“You scum! You’ve got some nerve!”
Tricia took a hard slap in the face; she couldn’t believe it.

How dare Carlene to have people treat her like this!
She was shaking with fear, biting her lip hard.
Her first night should’ve been with lar, how did it turn out like this!
But no matter how much she pleaded, the men paid her no mind.
After one night, the two men left satisfied.
Tricia curled up on the floor, her eyes full of hatred.
She hated both Maja and Carlene.
One claimed lan’s wife’s identity, and the other claimed lan’s love, these two women deserved to die! She cried in the hotel shower, cursing the two women over and over in her mind.
Back at the Pennyfeather family mansion, the lawyer was waiting for her, informing her of Neil’s will and handing her a bank card.
“Ms. Pennyfeather, this is the bank card Mr. Pennyfeather left for you. There are three million dollars in it, but you must leave Greenfield within two days, or the password to the card won’t be given to you.”
The lawyer mentioned a few other things. Tricia thought she had misheard, incredulously asking,
‘Are you saying my Dad gave all the Pennyfeather group shares to Maja?!”
The lawyer nodded in confirmation.
“No way! No way! I’m his real daughter! How can he do this to me! He will get his comeuppance!”
