Cristina never thought the day would come when Glenn couldn’t have kids. What lady would want to marry him then? 

It was Maja’s fault! 

Thanks to Maja, her daughter was always sick, and her son was now infertile. She had to get back at Maja! 

“Glenn…” 

Cristina wanted to comfort him, but this was a big blow for a man. 

Glenn clenched his fists, his face as pale as a ghost, as if the initial pain was still haunting him. 

Thinking back, he broke out in a cold sweat. 

His lips were sealed, his mind filled with images of Maja, thinking of countless ways to get back at her! 

Seeing Glenn’s face, Cristina felt scared. He looked like a beast ready to attack, with Maja as his target. 

“I’ll make her pay! I’ll make that bitch suffer!” 

Cristina didn’t dare to rebut, crying as she hugged Glenn. 

“Okay, Glenn, whatever you want to do, I’ll back you up. God, I’m so pathetic.” 

Cristina then called Carter and quietly told him about Glenn’s situation. Carter was surprised but comforted her, “Let Glenn handle Maja. The most important thing now is to stop Neil from waking up. We can’t delay any longer.” 

Cristina didn’t know what to do; hearing Carter’s words brought her back to her senses. 

The most important thing now was to take over the Pennyfeather family’s company. 

She hurried back to the hospital room and held Glenn’s hand. 

“Glenn, once we get the Pennyfeather family’s company, I’ll let you handle Maja; whatever you want to do is fine. This is all my fault; I didn’t think it through.” 

She thought it would be fine if she just guarded the door and didn’t disturb Glenn. Once things were successful, they could announce it to the world, and the Raymond family would have to call off the wedding. 

But who knew? Maja came prepared with pepper spray and attacked Glenn. 

Cristina hated her; if Maja were there, she would definitely attack her! 

But Glenn remained silent; he didn’t care about the company anymore; he just wanted Maja to make Maja pay, to make her cry and beg for mercy!

Now back at the hotel, she felt disgusted thinking about Glenn’s hands around her waist. She took a bath for an hour before she felt a bit better. 

Sitting on the couch, she thought of the Rosen Garden house she wanted to sell online, but no one seemed interested. 

And the new design for Greenfield Gardens was yet to come; she just felt a headache. 

That part of the design needed to be revised, while the rest could proceed as planned. The construction team hadn’t stopped working, and she had also gotten some help from Silverstone Enterprises. Silverstone Enterprises had to use connections for all the materials to get at the lowest price. 

Although she had contacted these suppliers before, her individual ability was limited. A big company like Silverstone Enterprises could get eighty percent of the price she had set. Roughly calculated, this could save hundreds of thousands of dollars. 

She smiled slightly; this was a small payback for lan, although he wasn’t short of money. 

But as his hired designer, she had done what she should.

Maja contacted the police again, but there was still insufficient evidence to rule out homicide.
