Carol quickly shot back a response 

[They just broke up, and his boss suddenly needed him for something, you know, he’s juggling a ton of jobs every day.] 

Although Carol is seriously loaded, Felix is as poor as a church mouse. But he’s young, good looking, and willing to slog 

Those were all the good points Maja heard from Carol about him. 

Since his student days, Felix has been working four jobs a day, all to pay for his tuition and living expenses

At first Maja was struck dumb. She couldn’t figure out why Carol would be with Felix.

The taller girl stood by the door, which soon swung open.

The one who came out was Felix. 

The woman then threw her arms around Felix’s neck, her voice a bit timid. 

“You’re a hard man to get a hold of. If it weren’t my birthday today, you wouldn’t even bother to come out, would you?” 

Felix stepped back, avoiding her physical contact. 

He looked about twenty, and was seriously good–looking, the type of guy that would be a total chick magnet on campus. Youthful and sunny, his smile was pure gold. 

Maja was standing not far away, witnessing this scene; she quickly texted Carol. 

And Maja snapped a picture, not to rub it in Carol’s face, but as evidence for when Felix inevitably lied later. 

She then carried the thermos and went to knock on lan’s door. 

The suites were far apart, ensuring privacy. 

The door opened, and lan had just come out of the shower, wearing pajamas. Water droplets were still falling from his hair. 

The water droplets only accentuated lan’s appeal. 

Maja knew very well that lan had an amazing physique. She always wanted to draw him, so she was taken aback when she saw him like this. 

In the silence, a water droplet slid from lan’s hair, rolled down his chest, then disappeared further down. 

When he saw Maja, he remembered the soup. 

“Mr. Raymond.” 

Maja called out, lifting the thermos in her hand. 

Maria bought this new one because the last time she left the thermos here. 

Ian saw her still in her clothes from earlier, her eyes bright, comers slightly drooping. 

Maja didn’t notice his changes; she didn’t enter before he spoke up. 

“This is tonight’s soup.” 

lan turned around, picked up a towel from the side, and slowly dried his hair. 

His back was beautifully sculpted, his figure lean. 

Maja couldn’t help but sigh; some people are born superior. 

She walked in, put the thermos on the table, and saw the one she forgot last time.. 

She picked up the empty thermos and said to lan. 

“Mr Raymond, you should get some rest” 

She was about to leave when she saw lan pulling out a first aid kit to tend to a wound on his hand.
